To fulfill the aspirations of pilots who want to extend their cross country flying playground, Paragliding Association of India is bringing the opportunity to learn from one of the best Cross country Instructors/Pilots in India.
The clinic shall be led by Debu Choudhury who is a member of the PAI Technical Committee, Paragliding Instructor & XC expert in the region.
He will be supported by Sunith Rao who is also the member of PAI Technical Committee, Assistant Instructor and winner of the Cross country competition – Panchgani Open 2024.
- The aim of the clinic is to impart knowledge & skill at a subsidized price.
- As this is an Advance XC clinic the screening of participant application will be done before confirming. This will be at the sole discretion of Instructors conducting the clinic
- All participants will be asked to fill a Risk Liability form.
- All participants shall be evaluated for their XC skills & shall be issued certificates of participation upon completion. Those PAI members who meet the grade shall be issued an XC specialty rating which may be used to augment their existing P5 rating now or in future as per the provisions of the FAI ParaPro system.

For Solo Pilots having atleast P3 or equivalent level with their own excellent condition flying kit,

**TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Participant in this clinic will be at the sole discretion of Instructors/Organizers.
- Carrying a Tracking device is Mandatory for the XC clinic (if you have any problems procuring the trackers, please contact us well in advance )
- Insurance: Accident/Medical/hospitalization insurance covering paragliding (proof to be checked during registration). NO EXCEPTIONS!
- All participants will be asked to fill a Risk Liability form.
- The minimum qualification is P3 to participate, however those looking for an XC rating will require to be P5 level. Pilot must be self sufficient to launch, land out and must have good thermalling skills to benefit from this course
- Maximum of 5 flying days (weather permitting) , 1 spare day is planned in case we have bad weather
- If you are travelling to attend this course, please wait until 11th of March before confirming travel/ stay bookings. We will reach out to you on or before this date once we have the minimum number of participants required to confirm the XC clinic. Please do not make any travel bookings/ plans prior to this written confirmation from PAI.
- In case we do not receive minimum participation registrations, PAI will refund the course fee in full
- Participants will be expected to independently organize and pay for their stay and meals (boarding and lodging). This cost is not included.
- Transportation cost to take off, transportation to venue, retrieves, meals, beverages and all other incidental expenses are NOT INCLUDED in the participation cost and have to be borne by the participant.
- Registration for the workshop does not guarantee certification/ rating, this is purely based on merit and successful evaluation by the instructors.
