PAI successfully conducted a Tandem and Solo pilot certification workshop in Vagamon on the 8th, 9th and 10th of February 2020. Kerala Tourism is in the process of streamlining the adventure activities being conducted for tourists in Kerala and had sought PAI’s assistance in evaluating and certifying interested experienced pilots operating in Kerala. The workshop was conducted by Tanaji Takve of Paragliding Mantra who is a qualified Tandem, Solo, Acro and SIV instructor and is a part of the PAI Technical Committee. The pilots were fortunate to get three days of excellent conditions overall for multiple training flights under Tanaji Takve’s guidance. Theory sessions were conducted everyday at the close of the flying day and a healthy interaction between the pilots and the Instructor took place. In total 16 pilots were evaluated and certified out of which 6 were Tandem pilots.
